An Outstanding Beach Vacation Spot!
Summer season for me means going to the beach with nothing else in mind, but to relax, have fun and be wild. With my search for pristine popular white beach, Boracay Island ranks top. Boracay Philippines indeed is famous for its white beach, an affordable place to visit and enjoy white-fine sand.
Beach Activities – A two or three day stay in Boracay is not enough. There are just so much to do and try. I never got bored on my stay there. First day, I tried the famous Banana Boat Ride, a wild experience even old people loved to try. Jet skiing, water skiing and Para-sailing were the next activities. I ended the day’s happiness with mountain biking on the hillside of the island. Night life was absolutely outstanding! I could choose different bars depending on the theme, music or the people. My last night was enjoyed by having a dinner along the beach, with cool ocean breeze and live music playing.
Those in the know are aware that the “White Beach” is the main tourist beach and is lined with all manner of hotels and resorts. For the kiteboarders and windsurfers, you should go to Bulabog beach for action.
Food – Boracay offers a large variety of gourmet restaurants. Several world class gourmet places in the Philippines can be found in Boracay. I found a real nice Italian restaurant. I could eat pizza and pasta in front of the beach! For dinner, I tried French cuisine. I just love seafood at lunchtime and trying Philippines local food after a very tiring beach activity.
Shops – The very good thing about the island is that, there are many things to buy at really cheap prices. There are many local shops for swimwear, shirts, women and men’s accessories, souvenir shops and a lot more. Most of the stores are open until midnight.
Being that Boracay is just a couple of hundred miles from Manila it is a convenient place to go and the pricing there is not off the charts at all.
It is truly an outstanding vacation spot that I plan on returning to over and over.
