Since 1983 De Losa’s has offered the Tampa Bay area some of the crispiest, cheesiest, best-tasting pizza in the area. Watch them make pizzas with their open kitchen. True to its Italian heritage, De Losa’s also serves up classics like chicken parmesan, veal parmesan, two types of lasagna, baked ziti, calzones, and stromboli. Located in John’s Pass, it’s perfect for a night out of shopping and exploring the city.
Dockside Dave’s Grill – Voted “Best Grouper in the South” by Southern Living Magazine, Dockside Dave’s is known for its batter-fried grouper sandwich – a must-try if you go there. Other menu items include batter-fried mushrooms, country-fried grouper, shrimp Martinique, and the scallop Martinique. Finish things off with a big ole’ slice of Barbara’s Homemade Key Lime Pie. Dockside Dave’s now also serves breakfast Saturdays and Sundays.
Gulf Bistro – Perfect for a romantic date night, Gulf Bistro, formerly Café de France, offers contemporary French cuisine at an affordable price. It’s a breath of fresh air for folks tired of seafood, with all dishes made-to-order, including a medallion of pork with brie in raspberry sauce and salmon butter sauce. Salads are tossed with mixed field greens and feta cheese, and desserts include the delectable chocolate mousse and chocolate profiterole. You can also stop on by for lunch, when they offer brunch-style items including crepes, fresh-baked croissants, omelettes, soups, and baguette sandwiches.
